Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been having pain in my throat after sneezing for several weeks now. I am trying to find out what could be causing it and how to fix it. Usually after I sneeze the pain only lasts for a few minutes. It definitely feels like the muscles are where the pain is coming from, it s not a sore throat like when I get sick (which doesn t happen often at all.) What is the best way to treat this problem. I dread sneezing because of the pain I know will follow. Thank you
Thanks for asking in healthcaremagic forum First thing you should do is to find out the cause for sneezing. Sneezing if caused by allergy can be prevented by taking anti-histaminics or mast cell stabilizers. You can take muscle relaxant for immediate relief for your pain in the neck caused by sneezing. All the best.
