What Causes Severe Stomach Pain And Back Pain After A Flu?
Hi, I have had the flu this week starting Sunday. I feel better, but I have pain in my legs, stomach and back from time to time. I take an Advil and the pain subsides. I was feeling a little light headed today. My blood pressure was 124/61. My heart rate was 55. Should I drink, eat or take some medicine to help my situation.
Pain in legs or stomach pain can happen in flu and you can continue taking advil for the same.Drink plenty of fluids and a nutritious diet for faster recovery.
Generally it takes about 5 to 7 days to recover from a flu but if you are not relieved of your symptoms beyond that I would advise you to get your blood culture done to rule out any bacterial infection.
Also get an USG abdomen done if your stomach pain continues. I hope that answers your question. If you have any further questions please feel free to write.Thank you and wishing you good health.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Nazma.amman, General & Family Physician
