What Causes Severe Stomach Ache After A Colonoscopy?

I had a colonoscopy yesterday around 2pm. I woke up around 1am with severe stomach pains. Assuming it was gas, I attempted a bowel movement. I was able to pass gas and bowel, but the pain remains in my right side. It is very severe and has already caused me to vomit. Is there anything I should be concerned about with this pain?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if the pain does not subside even after passing the stool and it is the history of colonoscopy done recently then it could be matter of concern and to rule out the possibility of trauma due to colonoscopy need to be ruled out and for that you to inform the doctor about the pain symptoms beside this it could be colicky pain, infection, and other, over all it has to be taken care hope this information helps.
I find this answer helpful
