What Causes Severe Rashes All Over Body After Insect Bites?

We have a lot of mosquito bites in Kaysville UT by the wetlands, more than I have ever seen. We were bitten several times, now I have a horrible rash that is keeping me up all night all over my body .Is there a reaction or something I can do for this? the rash feels like measles or hivesI am not the only one with this reaction but seem to be the worst case

Hi dear ,

As per your query you have rashes all over your body after insect bite . The symptoms you mention in query are are probably occurring due to allergic reaction . Sometimes people will get hives due to insect bite as you mention in query . I would suggest you to to apply cold compresses , take anti histamine like bandryl and keep yourself hydrated by drinking lot of fluid . If condition doesn't get improve or get worse then consult allergy specialist for proper examination and treatment . Doctor may treat with epinephrine (adrenaline), either self-injected or administered by a doctor. Usually, this injection will stop the development of a more severe allergic reaction.
