What Causes Severe Pain Under The Rib Area While Having IBS And GERD?
I have had a problem with my stomach all week. I have IBS and GERD, but this feels different. I m NOT nauseous and it isn t acid reflux ( I m aware of those symptoms). This is pain directly under my ribs (high in the stomach area). Mornings are usually ok, but around lunch time it begins and lasts into the night. Last night I put ice on my stomach to get to sleep. My mind was on the cold instead of the pain. I m eating good foods (Paleo diet / plus no grains, fried foods or foods with gluten. I limited my coffee drinking to one cup of decaf. I can t tell if I should wait it out, or get it checked out.
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, if this is the GERD then it should be well treated with PPI and the best drugs of choice would be "Tab Omeprazole 40 mg" with Domperidone 30 mg" once in day at evening time for six weeks, avoid coffee, smoking, spicy food, alcohol, prior to bed else it is nothing to worry hope this information helps.
