What Causes Severe Pain On The Right Shoulder?
I have had right shoulder pain for 3 months now. I saw ortho 1 month ago and he diagnosed tendonitis. No xrays were taken. Cortosine shot in my shoulder and in a knot in my muscle between shoulder and neck. Pain is very bad at night and I cannot sleep through the night. Advil 800 mg does not help. Do you think this is tendonitis and what to do now.

As a first line management, you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief.
If symptoms persist better to consult an orthopedician and plan for an MRI scan to rule out ligament or tendon involvement.
