Hi,

I have just gone through your query. Spondylolisthesis can cause compression of the nerves that supply your thigh region, this can cause chronic pain, numbness. The drugs which your doctor prescribed is what we used to prescribe here too, Pregabalin can mask the pain really well. If the pain still getting aggravated you can try the following:
1) Consult your orthopedician for a physiotherapy referral which can alleviate your pain.
2) There are various mild to moderate exercises which can alleviate the pain by reducing the compression.
3) If you are overweight look for a way to reduce your weight since the excess weight will put excess pressure and make it worse.
4) Avoid strenuous workouts or weight lifting for time being.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Moses John Wesley,
