General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and welcome to HCM.
Pain at bottom of rib cage may be due to gases getting collected in colon spaces in right and left flexures. It may be because of dypepsia,gastro-oesophageal reflux disease.
If i were your treating doctor I recommend,
-Advice investigations ECG,blood lipids and bliid glucose.
-Cap omeprazole once in mornin for 3-5 days.
-Eat slowly while you eat.Chew the food slowly.
-Avoid junk ,high fat, fried food items and carbonated drinks.
-Keep body weight within control.
-If the symptoms persists or worsens, you need to show surgeon and certain investigations like Usg may be necessary.
Thanks
