What Causes Severe Pain In The Pelvis And Abdomen?

Hi, Im a 28 year old mother of two who has the Essure implant in 2011. For the past year I have had severe pain in my pelvic, abdomen and where my tubes are located. I have seen more doctors than you could believe, all with no answers. The pain I have is so harsh i cry at night it hurts during intercourse with my husband and has pulled us apart. Im tired all the time, its just got to the point where ive almost given up because it seems like when I go to the doctors and they cant find anything I feel they think im lying. I am in good health, I was very active till this past year, I feel great except all this pain in that region. I need HELP! I dont know what to do anymore. They have dont ultrasounds, x-rays, pelvic exams, Sports therapy. I do have low thyroid but I take my meds and have never had any problems in that area. If you can help me and give me an answer me and my family would truly appreciate it.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

You are suggested to visit a GP. Get physically examined & get T3, T4, TSH done. Get treated for thyroid issues.

For abdominal pain consult a gynae, get a physical examination done. Get USG, uterus done to rule out polyp, fibroid, endometriosis, etc. Get treated at the earliest.

Your treatment depends upon the pathology detected. For pain you can take antacids, PPI's & spasmol, one sos when required.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Nupur K, General & Family Physician
