What Causes Severe Pain In The Neck?
Hi I had an ogd last week and have had severe pain in my neck and at the base of my skull. Is it normal to have neck pain afterwards? I might add I had 2 episodes of wretching during the procedure. I was not sedated just had my throat froze for the duration. I went back about my business afterwards. No stomach pain. Just sore throat (which I expected). And neck pain which is horribly uncomfortable.

Hi back some times may functional or sometimes due some pathology such disc degeneration or neck strain or any neck whiplash injury or neck injury first rule out cause of that pain had appropriate treatment
