What Causes Severe Pain In The Lower Back On The Right Side?

I am having rather sever lower back pain on my right side. I have been exerting myself in ways that could have caused this.I alos have a disc problem. However I am also feeling slightly constipated. Could this possibly be something related to the kidney? I am otherwise healthy and 63 years old.

Dividing abdomen in 6 quadrants pain of kidney is in right middle quadrant and radiates to back means front and back side of this quadrant will be painfull.lower back pain in your case is usually because of some exertion.
