Hi, I am a 53 year old woman, very active, in shape, etc. I smashed my toe on the floor 2 days ago and it hurt, but not too bad. It tingled a little bit after that. I iced it. It seemed fine. Then, a couple hours later, when I stood up, I got a shooting pain in my foot. I could barely support my weight with the pain. 2 days later, the pain comes and goes. Most of the time, I am completely fine and can even exercise. Sometimes, it hurts a lot on the top and mostly bottom of my foot where the big toe meets the metatarsal. It hurts especially when walking or running or pushing off. What do you think this might be?
