What Causes Severe Pain In Testicles During Ejaculation?

Hello. I am a 35 year old male. I had a vasectomy January 2014. I think there are still titanium clips in there. I was in pain for months, nothing excruciating, just very uncomfortable. It was especially bad when sitting in chairs and running. After a few months I was fine, 99.9% back to normal like nothing ever happened. I took a major blow to the testicles this past Monday morning. A 60 pound Pit Bull jumped right into my crotch full force like she was trying to jump up onto a bed. It hurt but I was up walking around right away. I am experiencing very similar pain as I did post vasectomy also accompanied by pain in my testicles when I ejaculate. There is no visible bruising and I don t think there is any swelling. It s gradually gotten worse every day since it happened. What do you think Doc?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Pain in the testicles during ejaculation could be due to a variety of conditions. In your case, the pain may be related to the previous vasectomy and/or the recent injury caused by the Pit Bull. It is important to consult with a healthcare provider for an examination and diagnosis.

The titanium clips from the vasectomy may be causing irritation or inflammation, and the injury may have exacerbated this. Other possible causes of testicular pain during ejaculation include infections, inflammation, and tumors. Treatment will depend on the underlying cause and may include pain management, antibiotics, anti-inflammatory medication, or surgery.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Anesthesiologist Dr. Pallavi.m's  Response
Hello,

As you have a history of trauma, you might have got a hematoma or blood clot inside testicles. You need to be examined in person and if necessary an ultrasound imaging of scrotum may be done. For pain relief, you can use NSAIDs like tab. Ibuprofen twice daily. Kindly consult a physician for further evaluation.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
