What Causes Severe Pain In Groin Area?

I have been living with severe pain in my groin that is limiting my movements - even to get dressed, to lift up that leg brings sharp pain. Also the front on my thigh also has pain. this is now keeping me up at night. I cannot walk far at all and even standing is very very limited. I am so frustrated as I feel like my life is slipping away, doctors are doing nothing yet this pain is increasing so much I just cannot take it

Hello and welcome.

There has to be something abnormal about the region to cause such pain like nerve entrapment, swelling, spinal cord injuries, slip disc causing radiation of pain, etc.

I would recommend a physical examination, ultrasound examination of your abdomen and pelvis, spinal palpation and MRI spine as well. It is difficult to help and provide suggestoons without knowing the cause, my apologies.

Please get these investigations done and speak to your doctor again with these reports.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
