What Causes Severe Pain And Cramps In The Legs?

I had sudden pain in my lower left leg, foot ant toes could not move or stretch my foot and then it started in my other foot. Like a large cramp but severe pain. When o tried to stand I was extremely lightheaded. And could not stand. Then I had a sudden pain in my forehead area. This lasted about 20 minutes and took about 30 minutes to completely subside. Any clue. I was going to go to the. ER but didn t was it started to subside.

The symptoms you describe will need to be investigated as many medical conditions may give you such presentation.Some common causes may include:
-Neurologic problems like MS, stroke
-Metabolic and ionic imbalances
-Vitamin deficiency
-Diabetic neuropathy
-Peripheral neuropathy
-Kidney and liver problems.
I will suggest you see the Doctor for evaluation.Tests that may help to identify cause may include: full blood count, fasting blood sugar, brain CT scan, serum electrolytes, liver and kidney function tests, vitamin levels...
I will suggest you rest well, avoid stress, and see the Doctor for evaluation.
You may take a pain drug like aceclofenac and a myorelaxant like miorel if pains/cramps persist.
