What Causes Severe Lower Back Pain With Pain And Weakness In Legs?

Hi, I ve had severe lower back pain with pain and weakness in legs and feet for about 7months now. I m also type 2 diabetic. So far my internist has ordered stays, MRI and CT scan with contrast dye. He just told me the stay shows some osteopenia, MRI shoed what they thought was an abdomeninal cyst, but CT showed normal so it could have just been a swollen lymph node. So still no answer for the back and leg pain. My legs also feel cold on the inside and like they are burning on the outside at times. Now doctor has suggested I see a back specialist. This is driving me crazy! I m 50years old and female. Any ideas of what could be wrong with me?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, with the history of diabetes such muscular pain is very likely if blood sugar level not being controlled on tight rule basis, for the pain you can have "Tab Diclofenac 50 mg" once in day, drink more water, try some vitamins too, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
I find this answer helpful
