What Causes Severe Joint Pain And Shoulder Pain After Using Cortisone Injection?

Hi I had a cortisone injection into my shoulder two days ago for frozen shoulder. It was into the joint and very painful. I have had them before without any side affects however this morning I woke up with a hot rash over my face. Could this be related?

Thank you for asking on HealthcareMagic.com. I have gone through your question and I can understand your concern. This is facial flushing which occurs in up to 40% of cases after cortisone injection, but lasts only briefly. You may apply ice locally or wash your face with cold water to get relief of it.
