What Causes Severe Itching On The Legs?

Hello, I wanted to know what could be the cause of itchy skin on my legs. This started occuring about two weeks ago. It itches mostly at night. I frequently also wash my legs at night with soap. The spots look internal. There is no pain or anything, just itchiness.

Hi,
Thanks for the query.. I understand your concern.
Such itching on legs is most of the times due to fungal infection.. following sweating &damp skin due to wearing tight fitting, synthetic clothes.
Daily cleaaning with soap &water . Throygh drying . Using loose cotton clothes &application of antifungal skin dusting powder/ointment would help.
If no relief, consult a skin soecialist for oral medicines.
Thanks.
