I have been having same simptoms for over a year. Sudden on set of intense itching crawling sensation. First starts either outer corners of my eyes or eyebrows. Travels to cheeks and down the sides of my face and ends in my ears. Outer and inner ears. Unbearable and lasts usually until I can sleep. Taking herbal sleep aids seems to calm it. Always starts in the evening, never morning. There is no rash or evidence that anything is going on.
