What Causes Severe Itchiness And Redness On The Vaginal Area While Having Streptococcus B?

i am 53 years old. i have been diagnosed with staph streptococcus B? i have been on penicillin with potassium for about one month. The vaginal area is red, with to areas that i am having trouble with healing. The itching has quit, bladder has stopped leaking . I took my allepinoral for gout and all these symptoms returned. Should i continue taking gout medicine? Is the uric acid in my urine causing the raw redness of the vaginal area?
