What Causes Severe Heartburn While On Rabeprazole?

I am on Rabeprazole for Acid Reflux. I just using it in Jan. It works pretty good most of the time but I would get heartburn about 1 a month. Lately I have had heartburn about 4-5 times a week. Have change my diet and it has not help. Previously I was on Aciphex and it worked very well but it is very, very expensive. What could be causing my constant Acid Reflux now.

Hello,

As per your history, it may be due to chronic gastritis.

For that continue tablet rabeprazole

Along with that you can take syp mucaine gel after consultation.

Avoid hot and spicy foods.

Take soft food. Avoid sleeping immediately after the food.

Avoid heavy meal. Do regular exercise for 30 to 40mins daily.
