What Causes Severe Headache, Left Ear Pain And Drooling?

I woke up last thurday with a massive headache it has gotten worse it started on the right side lower section it has now esculated to my entire head especially left side by my ear cannot open mouth very good pain nexer goes away but sometimes I feel like an electrical shock goes thru my head I am drooling a lot also hurts to swallow

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have severe headache, left ear pain and drooling which is due to ear infection and foreign body penetration in ear. Need not to worry about it. I would suggest you to visit Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and start treatment after proper prescription. Get all the lab tests done and examination with otoscope. You should take antibiotic Ciprofloxacin along with Ibuprofen. You should put Otogesic ear drops 2-3 times a day. You should take proper rest. Keep your ear dry and cover it while bathing and try to avoid pricking it with any sharp object. Apply dry warm compresses on external ear several times a day .You should avoid sleeping on this side. You should maintain hygiene of area.
