What Causes Severe Headache And Unconsciousness With Normal MRI Reports?
My sister is 20 years old and she is suffering from headache from the last one year. However, for the last 5 days she is getting unbearable pain in her head and she becomes unconscious. This is happening for 3 to 5 times in a day. MRI has been conducted but the report is absolutely negative one. I will be obliged to solve this problem.
Headache in presence of normal MRI reports can occur in following conditions: • Stress and Anxiety disorder • Migraine: In some persons migraine attack precipitated by exertion like exercise. • High blood pressure: BP increases during exercise. • Infection of teeth/ear/nasal cavity • Visual problem
Headache with unconsciousness in presence of normal MRI in young female can occur in hysteria or dissociative disorder due to anxiety/subconscious stress. For that you can get her evaluated by psychiatrist.
