What Causes Severe Headache After Intake Of Neuromet?
My mom has been prescribed with Novonorm 1 mg for her diabetic, Concor for high blood pressure. The doc gave her Neuromet as well. She has quite bad headache (not dizziness) every morning after an hour of these pills. Can Neuromet cause the headache? Blood pressure is pretty controllable. However, her diabetic is quite high in the morning.My question is her severe headache is from diabetics or from Neiromet....

Neuromet contains methylcobalamin, alpha lipoic acid, pyridoxine, folic acid etc., that belongs to the group of medications known as antioxidants. It is used in the treatment of vitamin B12 deficiency, anemia, neurological disorders like peripheral neuropathy, diabetic neuropathy etc.
In some cases, Neuromet may cause headache, dizziness, sleepiness, tiredness, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, upset stomach etc., as its side effects. Usually these side effects are mild and go away over time as the body adjusts to this medication. But if any of these side effects persist for long or bother you then you should consult your doctor first for medical help.
