What Causes Severe Headache After Discontinuing Levothyroxine?
My 14 year old daughter has been struggling with insomnia on the levothyroxine. We took her off for a week and she has been sleeping well. She started on synthesis this morning and now complains of a severe headache and very tired. What should we do now?

Insomnia may not be due to Levothyroxine, but it seems to be due to some functional elements and it has to be focus first.
In this age of 14 with endocrine dysfunction certain functional elements are likely, she may be in need of counselling, and initially it has to be begin at home, she must have lost the confidence and she must be feeling insecure.
