What Causes Severe Fatigue While On Diltiazem?

I am currently being treated for SVT. I am taking 120MG daily of Diltiazam HCL. With the diagnosis a year ago I was taking 60 MG. The symtoms had not improved and when I returned for a check up the patch I wore showed that my symptoms had not gotten better. That was when the dosage was increased. Since that time I still have my heart episode s (same, not worse) but I have become extremely fatigued. I really have to push just to get thru the day. Is this common with the dosage I am taking?

Hi,

We will try to help you in the best way possible. First of all it's sad to know what you had been going through lately.

Based on the history you have shared, serum electrolytes should be monitored and such abnormalities may trigger weakness as well as SVT.

Also, Thyroid functions should be seen alongside other endocrine disorders including sugar levels my monitoring.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
