What Causes Severe Fatigue And Low Vitamin D Content In Body?

My son has been on lisinopril and has all these symptoms. He has no energy and hasn t been able to work for 3 weeks. Legs won t function, so tired he can t function. He was low on vitamin D which he went to the Dr. For headaches. Blood pressure was elevated. Hypertension. He read this n quit taking lisinopril yesterday. Blood pressure was good today. Only now taking vitamin D. Do you know anything about this n what are his chances of regaining normal life? What can he do to get back to normal. Magnesium n potassium one said helped him.

Hi,

Low vitamin D levels can contribute to fatigue, as vitamin D plays a role in energy production and muscle function. However, low vitamin D alone may not account for all the symptoms your son is experiencing. Lisinopril treats hypertension (high blood pressure). Fatigue can be a side effect of Lisinopril too. Consult his healthcare provider before stopping or changing any prescribed medication.

To regain a normal life and address the symptoms your son is experiencing, a doctor needs to evaluate his fatigue for a treatment plan. This may involve addressing vitamin deficiencies, managing blood pressure, exploring other potential causes of fatigue, and considering lifestyle changes such as improving sleep habits, stress management, and regular exercise.

Magnesium and potassium are essential minerals that play various roles in the body, including muscle function and energy production.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. If you require a personalized response, kindly use the Ask A Doctor service and post a follow-up query.
