What Causes Severe Fatigue And A Drop In Oxygen Level?

I m 52 and have no health problems that I m aware of. I am very tired during the day and I asked my doctor and out of what I thought was strange she wanted me to wear this pulse ox and night. Well it came back showing my O2 was dropping 19 times per hour. I had 132 episodes per 7 hour period. Was shocked. I take generic for requip 1mg and it makes me very sleepy and knocks me out. Could this make my 02 decrease?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The medication you are mentioning (the generic of requip) even though it may cause increased sleep and reduced blood pressure it does not seem to cause respiratory depression or other changes that may justify the drop in oxygen levels.
I think you need to follow the instructions of the doctor as there is certainly an obvious reason she asked for oxygen level checks. Heart and lung problems have to be ruled out first.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
