What Causes Severe Dry Mouth And Throat Pain?

I seem to constantly have a dry mouth and throat. I can actually scrape the yeast off my tongue. I have used over the counter treatments for dry mouth. They offer a temporary help. I ve had blood work. Everything is normal. I was treated by the doctor for thrush and the oral mouthwashes seem to make it worse. Any suggestions?

Thanks for your query. I have gone through your query.
The dryness and throat pain can be because of the reduced salivary secretion secondary to stone or any blockage in the salivary gland duct. Nothing to be panic, consult an oral physician and get it evaluated. Mean while you can take a course artificial salivary substitutes like carboxy methyl cellulose. You need to get an ultrasound scan done to confirm the diagnosis. once the diagnosis is confirmed we can treat accordingly.
I hope I have answered your query. Take care.
