What Causes Severe Cramps In The Abdomen?

I have been having really bad cramps (like period cramps) for the past 1.5 weeks that come and go within like 1-2 minutes and will randomly get them throughout the day, though I m not on my period, and I haven t had a period since the middle of janurary. I have never had normal periods on time though, I have had it where I didn t have one for like 5 months before, or i could have one for 2 weeks or every othe week. I m not on birth control either. Just curious on what could be going on because I don t usually get cramps this bad unless if I am on my period.

Hi,

Thanks for your question on HCM
I do understand your pain and discomforts

As per your problem is concerned and irregular period history first ruled out if you have not endometriosis and to confirm you need a physical examination by your local doctor. Do an ultrasound examination. Treatment depends upon conservative as well as surgical.

If your pain persists or if finding a treatment that works takes some time, you can try measures at home to relieve your discomfort.

1)Fill two large bathtubs, one with warm water and another with cold water.
Add 10 drops of rosemary essential oil to each bath and stir well. Sit in the tub with hot water up to your waist for 10 minutes. Then sit in the tub of cold water up to your waist for 10 minute. Repeat for five rounds. Do this four times a week.
2)you can take over -the -counter pain killer like ibuprofen for pain.
3)Lie on the bed and stretch out your body. Rub some essential oil on your stomach. Gently massage in a rotating pattern for 10 minutes. Do this once daily.
4)Mix eight drops of lavender essential oil and one-fourth cup of castor oil.
Soak a washcloth in this mixture, fold it and heat it in the microwave until it is comfortably warm. Place the warm cloth directly on your lower stomach.
Put a piece of plastic on top of the cloth and place a hot water bottle on top of that. Use the pack once a day for 60 minutes. Rinse off the oil with lukewarm water after each application.

Hope that helps and follow me with ultrasound report

Thanks
