Thank you for your time and expertise. I had an upper and lower GI (routine screening) and within 12 hours post endoscopy I have developed a chronic cough. This is somewhat different than any cough before. I can feel drainage but cannot determine the area of initiation. I am coughing at times as if I inhaled water. It seems worse after eating/drinking or speaking. I have never consulted an online source but this is somewhat unusual. Any thoughts on why this suddenly showed up? I have had a previous scope and never experienced this before.
