What Causes Severe Cold And Throbbing Chest Pain After Smoking Marijuana?
I smoke cigarettes about half a pack a day and marijuana. 3 days ago i started with i minor cold then my left arm was in serious pain and i know i do not sleep the wrong way during the night. The night before now, my cold has gotten worse and i can feel my chest throbbing with from 1-10, its a 8! Im 5 5 ,129lbs. Whats wrong, and what is my case? I know smoking has much to do with it!
The following might be few causes of your throbbing chest pain along with left arm pain: 1) Acute angina 2) Acute myocardial infarction 3) Coronary heart disease 4) Severe pneumonia 5) Dissecting aortic aneurysm
To those who come to my clinic with similar complaints, I recommend an ECG, 2D echocardiography, chest X-ray, complete blood picture and hemoglobin percentage. Sometimes peptic ulcer can mimic like a heart attack. So try using tab. Pantop before food. If the pain persists, it's mostly of cardiac or heart case. Please do consult a cardiologist as soon as possible.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Pallavi M., Anesthesiologist
