What Causes Severe Back Pain When Diagnosed With Edema?

I have been suffering with edema in my feet and hands, I have been having trouble urinating and I m constipated even though I have been taking laxatives. My back on my lower left side so bad I want to cry. I went to the doctors and he treated me for bulging discs. What else could this be?

hi. I have read your question and understand your concern.

edema over hands and feet, trouble urinating and unilateral back ache are highly suggestive of renal disease.

I suggest you see your physician and get your serum urea and creatinine levels done to rule out renal involvement.

u might be having renal stones causing the backache and deranged kidney function

I hope this was helpful. for any further questions please get back to us. thanks.
