General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

It seems most likely due to diabetes medicine which you are taking. It's one of the most common side effects relating to Metformin. Using it between meals it decreasing dose to 500 mg with adding any other one along it like sitagliptin etc may be helpful. Using motility agents like domperidone and antacids like omerperazole with current symptoms will help.

Wishing you a speedy recovery. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
