What Causes Sensitivity To Touch On The Thighs And Buttocks?

Hi, out of nowhere I ve noticed my left leg being very sensitive to touch mainly the back of my thigh always my buttock especially when I sit on a cold toilet seat, throughout the day when laying down my leg feels like I ve pulled a muscle but do no type of work for this to happen. What could this be?

Hi,

Cannot say in your particular case, but generally, this is due to sciatica. Certainly, sensitivity is due to an irritated nerve. The nerve to that area is sciatic which is often hit by disk disease.
