What Causes Seizures While On Morphine, Naproxen And Tramadol?

My friend was prescribed morphine, naproxen, and Tramadol and one other drug at the same time for back ache, and now suffers seizures every 2-3 minutes. Could this be the effect of the medication? Scans show everything is fine both neurologically, and with her back.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Your friend is prescribed total 4 painkillers for back pain as stated by you.
First thing, all four different kind of analgesic medications never required and Tab.Tramadol has a side effect of seizures uncommonly but can not ruled out in your friend's case.
It might be tramadol induced as in 90% cases no definitive cause can be found out by any investigations, means either they are from unknown etiology or drug induced ( as in your friend's case)
So,stop this too much medications and also discuss with your doctor but first get treatment for seizures if still episode comes.
I find this answer helpful
