What Causes Scant Menstrual Bleeding While On Birth Control Pill?
Last month on June 24th I started my period and it was very light and short. I am on sprintec b/c. This past Friday I had a stomach bug and ended up n the hospital and diagnosed me with gastritis but am not sure they ran a pregnancy test. Should I take one or is it normal to have a light period. I m supposed to start my next period on Wednesday this week

I understand your problem, its progesterone in birth control pill which causes scanty bleeding , its normal to have scanty bleeding. its very unlikely to become pregnant when you are taking regularly your pills.
