when my grandson turned 4 years old, he started to get scaly little round sores on is face, they would heal and than return as he got older they appeared on his arms, hands, legs and feet, his skin cells seem to regenerate layer on top of layer without shedding causing his skin to become hard and cracked , especially on his hands and feet , doctors said it was ethyosis are something like that. he is 15 years old now and ulcers have developed in both eyes, said to be cause by the skin disease, his thumbs are bent inward because the skin is so thick on his fingers and the sores of his feet are the same way. Now the doctor say they really don t know what it is, a lot of guess work right now, hhim asleep every few months to clean out his ears or his hearing will be affected. We are a wits end and I feel so bad for him. Could this be genetic are blood related possibly nutrient related.
