What Causes Runny Nose And Small Bumps All Over The Back And Stomach?
My child has a runny nose and yesterday I noticed tiny bumps all over back and tummy. Almost can t see they re so small but his skin just feels rough. Almost like goosebumps but they don t go away. They are not red or itchy but today I noticed them on his legs. What could it be?
It could be a simple upper respiratory tract infection possibly viral in origin. The skin lesion may be due to an exanthematous eruption associated with viral fever.
As of now you can give him paracetamol according to the body weight.
Generally, the symptoms and lesion will settle by itself by two to three days. If lesion persists better to consult a pediatrician and get evaluated.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
