What Causes Rise In Insulin And TSH Levels Along With Irregular Periods?

My insulin level(34)and TSH(6.8)levels are high.I have irregular periods.Doctor has given me glycomet for insulin and thyroup 100mg and 150 mg to be taken 4 days and 3 days respectively.My ultrasound is normal but doctor still suspects PCOS and advised me to eat MCBM.LH and FSH and glucose report also normal.Free T4 serum below normal range.I am overweight (5 height and 75 kgs )Can I have problem in conceiving.

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
Due to metabolic disturbance as a result of hormonal imbalance, insulin and TSH levels goes up in PCOS. The same is true for your irregular periods also.
This causes problem in conceiving.
Hence, what the doctor has prescribed is right. Once you are on this treatment for some time, it improves timing of your ovulation properly and has an increased chances of conceiving.
