What Causes Right Sided Calf Pain?

I have been experiencing R sided calf aches over (hate to say it) a few years. It is intermittent. I am less and less active with demands of a new desk job (previously very active). In the last week I have now experienced a cool sensation like a trickle downwards in the same leg (first time it happened I thought it was liquid running down my leg). That, too, is intermittent, but happening more frequently (up to a few times per hour) yet in no consistent pattern. It concerns me, but as an RN (worst patient ever) I don t want to be overthinking this. Of note, I have been noticing that I get SOB more often than usual (controlled asthma). Is this an emergency or is an appointment with my PCP next week fine?
