What Causes Right Ear Dull Monotone Sound And Robotic Voices?

I've been experiencing hearing disorders over the past 2 weeks or so. I've been to a doctor and had my ear flushed out. From then on, I've given my ear time to recover. It's better now; I don't hear robotic noises any more, but I feel that it is still not fully recovered. Should I visit a doctor or let my ear recover for few more days?

Understanding your concern.

Thanks for your query . The symptom you mention in query can occur because of many reasons like post nasal drip , eustachian tube dysfunction ,something like air bubble or water and hearing loss .

Your doctor flushed out your ear as you mention above so chance of air bubble or anything else in ear canal is not there .

I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist (ear ,nose,throat) again for proper examination and treatment . Doctor may order pure tone audiogram (PTA) for hearing loss or blood test for upper respiratory infection due which eustachian tube gets block which leads to eustachian tube dysfunction .

Doctor may prescribe antibiotics , steroid drugs or hyperbaric oxygen therapy.

For now keep your stress level low because high stress can also cause such sounds and give warm compresses to ear.
