Hi,
Bronchospasm, secondary to infection or allergy is the usual cause of respiratory problems in the elderly.
You are on regular steroids as inhalers or nubulizers and seems to working partly, with better results.
Steroids in excess dose can lead onto reduced immunity. Discuss with your physician. Goal in the elderly is to prevent symptoms and avoid exacerbation.

Levolon is an antibiotic and is taken until infection subsides. If you are taking for more than 5 days, you need to discuss with your Physician.

Hope I have answered your query. I will be happy to help you, if you have any further queries.
