Hashimoto diagnosis, with TSH 69.39, T3 74, T4 .5, AST 43, ALT 71, RBC 5.18, HCT 46.4. Thyroid been out of sorts for 20 years, gotten TSH down to 15 using Synthroid .675, Cytomel, Glucophage, and a couple of other non traditional medicines. Feeling worse, gallbladder removed 1 yr ago. Primary Dr, doesn t seem interested. Biopsy of nodule negative, but since have repeated bruising, overheating, swelling, difficulty swallowing, sleeping 3 hr max, some chest pains. Endo did more extensive tests, but not sure what else should be asking for.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Your dose can be increased of Thyroxine once you consult an endocrinologist, anti-acetylcholine levels should be done.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Sunny Madar, General & Family Physician
