What Causes Redness And Puffiness On Eyes Of 1 Year Old?

My 1 year Olds eyes are red and puffy on the bottom. We went swimming earlier today so she has sunscreen on. She s never had a reaction to sunscreen before could it be something else. I noticed the redness and puffiness after a 2 hour nap and they seem to be getting redder and puffier

Hi
Welcome to the HCM

Most likely your daughter has allergic reaction most likely to some allergen which was in contact with the area such as new diaper, synthetic cloth or the cosmetic. Don't worry. You may use Lactocalamine lotion for local skin irritation and an oral antihistamine syrup such as Syp Benadryl or Chlorpheniramine for relief.

Hopefully this will help you.
Take care
