What Causes Redness And Inflammation On Abdominal Lining?

My stomach hurts as food hits it. I ve had an edoscopy about a year ago, and was told I had some suspicious irritations (biopsied and negative), and that my stomach lining was extremely red and irritated. I ve been taking famotadine 20 mg. once or twice a day for over a year. The stomach pain is worse than ever as I swallow and food hits my stomach. What other conditions should I discuss with my doctor?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
It seems that you might be having acute gastritis giving this type of pain sensation.
There is other possibility of having gastric ulcer.
Go for another endoscopy to rule out ulcer.
Go for stool test for occult blood.
Take milk diet.
Avoid stress.
Avoid fried, chillies and junk food.
Continue with Famotidine or Omeprazole full dose.
Ok and take care.
