General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Please do send a picture of that reddish purplish rash above his upper lips so I can evaluate the changes myself. I need a few more details:
- Since when did you notice this?
- Does he feel it itchy?
- Any local trauma?
- Problems with his teeth?

I recommend not to scratch or apply nothing on that reddish purplish rash. Keep good oral and dental hygiene. If you have noted it for more than 1 month, discuss it further with his caring pediatrician.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
