What Causes Reddish Orange Vaginal Bleeding After Having Intercourse?

Hi. After having intercourse yesterday, I started bleeding. It stopped later that day but today I started bleeding again. It is not a normal red color. It is a redish orangish color and I feel no pain. My period is two weeks away and I have always had a regular period.

Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hello and welcome to HCM,
Reddish-orangish discharge after having intercourse can occur in case of inflammation in the reproductive tract like vaginal wall, cervix, endometrium etc.
A clinical assessment of the reproductive tract is required to look for evidence of infection.
Colposcopical examination will determine the status of cervix.
If cervix is healthy, endometrial curreting or biopsy will be required to assess the status of endometrium.
Management can be planned after clinical assessment and relevant investigations.

Thanks and take care
