What Causes Red Spots On The Forearms, Face And Neck?

I am experiencing small red bumps on my skin. They started on my forearms, but over last two days have spread to my face, neck, mostly my hands, and a few spread out all over. They itch, but only slightly. I don t have any symptoms of having an illness. Is this an allergic reaction, or maybe a parasite? The only thing I can think of that has been different in my routine is that I found several sand sollars on the beach. Do they emit some sort of toxin?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

It might be an allergic reaction or an insect bite reaction.

As a first line management, you can take antihistamines like Pheniramine for symptomatic relief.

If lesion persists better to consult a dermatologist and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
