Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have red spots on my legs and arms. Can this be a reaction to eliquis? I ve been getting them since I ve been on eliquis. I had a few before that time when I was on warfarin, but they are a lot worse now. They are not too itchy but I also take an antihistamine every morning due to seasonal allergies.
It is possible that the rash is occurring as a result of a reaction to the medication
A reaction is possible with any medication that is used. If you did not notice the rash prior to the use of the medication, this increases the chance that it is occurring as a result of it.
It would be best to speak to your doctor.
I hope this helps
